This is an decent Karmann Ghia decklid, correct for pre '70 cars. It has some rust along the bottom edge, see pictures. Otherwise, it is very straight, and only has a few layers of paint. Great for your Ghia project! I won't ship this, come pick it up in Stoughton WI 53589. _________________ PAYPAL PREFERRED! Please check out my other items listed on TheSamba! This is a restorable 59-64 deck lid. It has some odd rust, it was stored inside a beetle with no windows, and it was upside down. The inner structure around the passenger side is pretty rusty, along with the hinge mount. Otherwise, this isn't a bad piece at all, especially for the midwest. It is fairly straight, though there is a slight bend to it, like someone ripped it off a bus violently. I ...
This is a neat old distributor from an industrial engine. This engine was set up to run a small agricultural sprayer. The date code on this distributor is 331, or November of '73. It's a real, German made Bosch part. This is comparable to an 009. The points are funky, check out the pictures. A quick clean up and this unit is ready to go! Price includes shipping to the lower 48. ________________...
This assembly came out of a 1966 Beetle, but is also correct for 65. I hooked 6 volts up to it, but the motor seems to be seized. The hood was left open on this beetle for many years. The wiper shafts are not seized, though they are deeply pitted. The linkage itself is in fairly good shape. Includes retaining hardware as pictured. Price includes shipping to the lower 48. _________________ PAYPA...
This is a decent wiper motor and linkage from a late bay window bus. I'm not positive what year it is, but it uses the 69-up style wiper shafts. The part number stamped on the motor is 211 955 113L. A masochist with a side cutter removed the plugs from the wires, sadly. I tested it with 12v, and both the high and low speed work as they should. The shafts move nicely, a little greasing and they'...
This is a fairly complete March '58 36hp engine. The number is 2301740. This engine has been stored inside for many many years. I'm pretty sure it's from a beetle, but accessories could have been changed at any point, it's very old. It has an awesome Norris Cam degree wheel and pointer installed, vintage and cool! This engine does turn over all the way, but doesn't have much compression and has...
This is a good wiper motor from a bay window bus. I put 12v to it, both high and low speeds work as they should. The park function works partially, it kind of skips past where it should stop and starts going again, it should work right hooked up to a linkage and wipers. Great for your bay project! Price includes shipping to the lower 48. _________________ PAYPAL PREFERRED! Please check out my o...
This is a nice rear engine motor mount bracket from an early 912. Part number 616 115 012 01. This one is nice and straight, with only a little patina and a nice visible part number. Great for your early 912 project! Price includes shipping to the lower 48. _________________ PAYPAL PREFERRED! Please check out my other items listed on TheSamba! This is a nice looking rear motor mount from a watercooled Vanagon. Part # 025 199 221A. The mounts all look good, but have been sitting for a long time and may fail quickly. Nice and straight, ready to get your waterboxer mounted up! I'll remove but included the muffler mount for shipping. Price includes shipping to the lower 48. _________________ PAYPAL PREFERRED! This is a nice looking AW code 1.8 engine case, correct for '74 bay windows. It's dirty, but doesn't seem to have any damage I can see externally. I haven't pulled it apart and measured bearing surfaces, and the price reflects that. Assume it needs to be machined, though it may not. $125 picked up just south of Madison, Wisconsin. Shipping available, but it won't be cheap. _________________ PAY...
This is an ok engine hatch from a '73-'79 bay bus. This one has some rust, there are two holes on the bottom that are pictured and some heavy surface rust on the top. It is still 100% functional however, and with a coat of paint you'd never notice the rust. Insulation is original and in very good shape. Both latches move as they should, and the hinge tabs are nice and straight. Price includes s...
This is a decent screw terminal 6v wiper motor, correct for 58-61 bugs. I hooked 6 volts up to it, and was able to get it to turn on and park. It makes a bit of a whining noise, it would benefit from a cleaning and re-lubing. Includes mounting hardware as pictured. Price includes shipping to the lower 48. _________________ PAYPAL PREFERRED! This is a slightly bent early 912 rear engine support bar. Part number 616 115 012 01. It is bent slightly, see pictures. I bet you could still bolt it up and it would work just fine, but it might take a little tweaking. Price includes shipping to the lower 48. _________________ PAYPAL PREFERRED! This is a wiper assembly removed from a '68 bus. I hooked it up to power, nothing happened. I popped the linkages off the pivots and tried again, still nothing. The pivots are both seized, the motor may be seized as well. I bet this could be brought back, but it doesn't do anything right now. Great for parts, or get your penetrating oil out and bring this one back! Price includes shipping to th...
This is a Thing rear deflector tin/skid plate mount. It's in good shape, a little surface rust but nothing crazy. There is a scrape at the very lowest point, see pictures. Overall very good shape, straight. Has one small tear near a bolt hole pictures, and has surface rust with some pitting but this piece would look great sandblasted and powdercoated. $400 shipped in the Lower 48 states. _________________ PAYPAL PREFERRED!
